Amy, a self-taught photographer, picked up a digital camera ten years ago. Her first forays into photography included flora, fauna and the rural landscape, and then other subject matter came into the view of her camera’s lens.
For the most part, Amy’s work focuses on finding beauty in the ordinary, with a penchant for patina. This is exhibited in her InSink photographs and other abstract artwork which might include rust, worn wood and broken glass.
Amy’s Still Life Portraiture series featuring an assortment of mannequins styled into various vignettes, was most recently part of an art installation, “Window Work” at the Caledonia Village Gallery. Her solo exhibit “Jacqueline’s World”, opened in June 2023 at the same gallery in Caledonia, NY.
Amy is one of 18 artist-members of the newly formed (May 2026) Caledonia Village Gallery Co-Op. She was the visiting artist at The Gallery in the Valley (Geneseo, NY) in January 2022. Amy’s art has also been exhibited at juried shows at Image City Photography Gallery (Rochester, NY) and the GVCA Members Shows.
